Day 4: AWS Cloud Resume Challenge

After an intense few days of configuring AWS networking and taking a much-needed mental break yesterday, I completely shifted gears today. I closed the AWS console and opened my code editor!
The Goal: Preparing for the Visitor Counter
The next step of the challenge is adding a dynamic visitor counter to my resume. Before jumping into the complex backend logic, I spent today building a solid foundation in JavaScript.
What I Learned Today:
Instead of rushing, I got hands-on with the core JS building blocks.
1. Variables & Data Types: How to store information (like my visitor).
2. Arithmetic Operators: How to use math (to add +1 to the counter).
3. The Console: How to print messages and debug my code.
4. Comments: Leaving notes for my future self.
Honestly, after wrestling with Route53 and CloudFront routing all week, writing straightforward JavaScript logic felt like a breath of fresh air.
Up Next:
Tomorrow, I'll deep dive into JavaScript to integrate it into my HTML file and set up a GitHub repository to track my code!
